Who is STIQ Ltd? Our FAQs
STIQ is a leading publisher of market research into warehouse automation and supply chain technology. Because of our unique business model we often get asked questions about our approach and how we remain objective, why we avoid doing direct vendor comparisons and focus instead on market intelligence.
Here are the questions we get asked most frequently.
What is STIQ's business model?
We are proud to offer high quality, objective market research completely free of charge to readers. To do this, we are funded by advertisers who are typically either OEMs or system integrators interested in this space.
Who is your audience?
Because of our business model, we have built a large and global audience across a flywheel that spans the whole industry- end customers, OEMs, system integrators, investors, and beyond. Our readers are typically senior decision makers at these companies who want to see what is happening in the market.
Our model also means that we love people sharing our reports with their colleagues and beyond. We estimate that our reports typically get shared 5-10x by our readers.
We also offer direct downloads from leading trade associations such as MHI and Automate in the US.
Why do people advertise with you?
As well as accessing our audience, we also offer a range of options for our advertisers to offer the report directly from their website. This allows direct attribution for lead generation, and our customers have had great success building content marketing campaigns around our detailed reports.
How does STIQ remain objective?
We are fiercely independent, and have to remain objective in order to retain trust for our readers. To achieve this, we do not do subjective comparisons between different vendors, and focus instead on detailing the market and technology trends by distilling the feedback of the experts we speak to over the course of our research.
How do we find information?
Our research is based on primary research with experts for each report. We speak to 40-50 leading experts from OEMs, integrators and end users of the equipment in the report. We interview people from start-ups to global companies, and from around the globe to give as comprehensive a view as possible.
We also visit over 30 exhibitions and events each year, across North America, Europe, and Asia. This helps us understand where the market is heading. We offer reviews of these events to end customers. Message adam@stiq.ltd to learn more.
Do you use AI in your reports?
No. Whilst we understand the growth in the use of AI for some research companies and may use tools such as transcription apps, we rely on our own proprietary information gathered through primary research.
How is our research different from companies like Gartner?
We do not give subjective comparisons between different vendors. We focus on providing information about the different geographic markets and end sectors, where they are heading, and the technological advances that are moving warehouse automation forward.
We are also focused on warehouse automation and supply chain technology, and have built up a reputation in this space.
How can we get involved with research?
We love speaking with new people to inform our research. Our interviews take 30 minutes and are conducted online. Reach out to adam@stiq.ltd to learn more.
